Giving is Voluntary

Although it is more or less coincidence that I'm starting this blog on Christmas Day, the notion of gift-giving is appropriate. I have chosen not to wait for world leaders to arrive at an agreement over climate change. All the talk of 'binding agreements' and 'climate debt' has led to very little. It appears to me that Copenhagen was all about every nation looking out for themselves. That attitude won't get us very far toward a collective solution. So I've decided to take matters into my own hands and pay my climate debt voluntarily. It is my gift to all life on Earth.
